Head of Finance mfd - Germany - remote

Job Description:

The Head of Finance (m/f/d) will have the following responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all finance and accounting operations of the company
• Provide strategic financial guidance and support to senior management and other stakeholders
• Implement and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Coordinate and lead the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and financial risk
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
• Collaborate with other departments to drive financial efficiency and business growth

Essential Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar finance leadership role
• Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
• Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively
• Fluency in English & German (written and spoken), Italian is a plus

Desired Experience:

• Prior experience in the manufacturing or packaging industry, or any other production industry, or the BIG 4
• Familiarity with German accounting standards and tax regulations
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams

Salary & Benefits:

The salary for this position will be competitive, starting from 85k to 100k, and will be provided on an annual basis. Additional benefits and details will be communicated to the selected candidate.
