Head of Finance (Bintulu, Sarawak)

Your new company

A chemical manufacturer in Bintulu which belongs to an investment holding company. They are looking for a Head of Finance to lead their finance team in Bintulu.

Your new role

Your responsibilities will involve the following but not limited to:

• Leading and managing the finance team of 10+ people.

• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly management reports, and oversee costing, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

• Oversee and analyse financial performance, cash flow, and capital allocation.

• Ensure financial reporting complies with statutory requirements and accounting standards.

• Provide quarterly financial updates to the board.

• Manage financial risk issues.

• Coordinate with authorities, internal and external auditors, tax agents, and bankers on relevant matters and queries.

• Handle financing matters with bankers and agreements with lawyers.

What you'll need to succeed

• Professional Qualification (ACCA, CPA or equivalent).

• Minimum 10 years experience in accounting/finance.

• Proven track record in financial analysis.
