Position Overview

Emerhub is a business consulting firm with different branches in Asia (Indonesia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Philippines, Pakistan). We do accompany our clients and lower entry barriers in growing market. Our expertise makes Emerhub the investment partner of companies and individuals willing to develop or reallocate activities in Asia.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to lead our finance department and contribute to the company’s strategic direction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management, strategic planning, and team leadership. This role will oversee all financial aspects of our business and work closely with the executive team to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  1. AP: Manage daily payments and make sure the supporting documents are complete based on the guide from Group
  2. AR: Check the money received from clients daily
  3. Bank Reconciliation
  4. Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including daily journal, P&L and balance sheet. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  5. Tax: Execute the tax payment and reports of the company
  6. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  7. Management Responsibilities: Comply with Global management and executive level directives not limited to the responsibilities and roles mentioned in this contract. Comply with additional duties and responsibilities for future needs and requirements
  8. Compliance and Audit: Ensure adherence to financial compliance and accounting standards

KPI:

  1. Profitability Monitoring:
    Objective: Ensuring the financial health and profitability of the business
    Regular analysis of revenue streams, cost structures, and profit margins
    Identification of underperforming aspects, such as customers, products, channels, and departments
  2. Transactional Processing and Reporting:
    Objective: Enhancing accuracy, speed, and efficiency in financial operations
    Implementation of KPIs to measure the accuracy of transactional processing
    Monitoring the speed of reporting, ensuring timely dissemination of financial information
    Assessing efficiency in data processing to streamline financial reporting
  3. Billing and Collections:
    Objective: Efficiently managing billing processes and minimizing overdue payments
    Implementing KPIs to track the effectiveness of billing systems
    Monitoring collections to reduce overdue payments and improve cash flow
  4. Project and Initiative Management:
    Objective: Implementing change through projects and initiatives
    Evaluating the success of projects based on adherence to budget, timeline, and scope
    Monitoring the Finance Manager's role in driving effective change within the organization
  5. Customer Satisfaction and Departmental Functionality:
    Objective: Ensuring customer satisfaction and optimal departmental performance
    Implementing KPIs to gauge customer satisfaction with financial processes
    Monitoring the overall functionality of the finance department
    Tracking progress in training and personal development plans for the finance team

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or a professional accounting qualification is a plus
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Accounting/Finance department
  3. Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards
  4. Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies, driving business growth and profitability
  5. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and lead a high-performing finance team
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  7. Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
  8. You have demonstrated the ability to manage and navigate complex financial transactions and M&A activities
