Head of Finance

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

• Drive cost optimization and profitability improvement initiatives.

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.

• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risks.

• Structure and secure project financing, including bank loans and investor funding.

• Conduct feasibility studies and financial modeling for new development projects.

• Evaluate investment opportunities and risk assessments.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and financial laws.

• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.

• Implement internal controls and financial risk management strategies.

• Lead and mentor the finance team to enhance performance.

• Work closely with other departments to support business objectives.

• Manage relationships with banks, investors, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the property development industry is required.

• Strong track record in project financing, investment analysis, and financial risk management.

• Proficiency in financial modeling, cash flow management, and project feasibility analysis.

• Knowledge of local tax regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.

• Familiarity with ERP systems, financial software, and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English, Malay & Chinese is preferable.
