As the Group - Head of Finance, you will play a key role in driving the financial management of the business. You will lead a team of finance professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to ensure the accuracy, integrity and transparency of financial operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that functions in finance operations are carried out smoothly and in a timely manner.
- Manage group accounting including consolidation, annual financial statements and analysis of financial & management reports.
- Oversee budgeting and contribute to the continuous improvement of key business processes, such as financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and cost control.
- Develop, implement and maintain an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide every business unit with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure business performance.
- Highlight and advise management on matters with significant financial impact on the Company’s performance and propose remedial action plans when necessary.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making and drive business performance.
- Implementation of projects within specified timelines by working closely with the team and other departments.
Job Requirements:
- Professional qualification from a recognized accountancy body and membership in ACCA/MIA or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a managerial role with exposure to the regional market.
- Sound technical knowledge of Finance Reporting Standards.
- Hands-on experience in preparing Annual Group Consolidation of Accounts.
- Results-oriented and resourceful.
- Possess analytical, strategic, critical thinking & excellent communication skills.
