Why does this job exist and why is it critical?

Job Purpose

The Supply Chain Management Head/Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing company's overall supply chain strategy, encompassing demand forecasting & supply planning, inventory & channel availability, and maximizing the process efficiency and productivity of the entire value chain. In addition, they play a crucial role in gathering trade support by developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors and distributors.

Accountability :

• To plan and implement overall supply chain strategy for 3PL business.
• Full collaboration with internal stakeholders & external vendors in regards to device & accessories demand forecasting & supply planning.
• Monitor & ensure device & accessories inventory level in optimal availability in all sales channels.
• Managing vendors for stocks availability, funds for retail trade programs, and after sales support (device guard, freebies, promoters).
• To raise PR / PO as per aligned & approved budget (annual vs. quarterly vs. weekly).
• To identify process bottleneck, suggest solutions for process improvements, and implement solutions in timely manner.
• Present weekly reporting to Head of Device Sales & Logistics Management, providing insights into overall forecast & supply.
