Head of Cloud Operations (DevOps, Cloud)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the cloud engineering and operations capability for the Allianz Technology Asia region.
• The responsibility covers the operations and engineering of the cloud environments, leveraging existing landing zones and services, and integration with the application devsecops capabilities to deliver applications and capabilities to cloud.
• Build and own the Allianz Technology ASIA-centric cloud organisational strategy.
• Build and manage the cloudops and devsecops teams that operate the cloud environments and the platforms and applications that run on it.
• Create and enhance the Cloud Technology architecture, in partnership with Allianz Technology's internal and external stakeholders.
• Continue to partner with external cloud service providers and Allianz internal partners to shape the cloud offerings.
• Drive growth for the practice through effective customer engagement. This warrants a structured engagement model that drives the cloud onboarding business case, migration plans, operational strategies, risk management, and where required, support regulatory engagements.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers internal and external to Allianz Technology. Develop industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Experience leading cloudops and devsecops capabilities that deliver platforms and tools that enable deployment and consumption of cloud services.
• Experience & knowledge of cloud technologies to drive cloud onboarding strategies, manage cloud operations, and drive benefits realization.
• Hands-on skills with devsecops toolsets, automation, and cloud deployments.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both internally and externally to C-Suite.
• Ability to understand critical issues and bring appropriate resolution to complex, cross-industry issues.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Degree in information technology or other comparable technical qualification.
• 15+ years of relevant experience from multi-national organizations. The ideal candidate would have experience leading complex programs with transformation objectives and management of large-scale delivery responsibilities.
• Must have worked in a matrix organization, with a strong track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must have strong exposure to AGILE and DevOps.
• Goal-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experienced in managing multi-cultural and geographically dispersed teams through both direct and influence management.
• Customer-centric mindset; transparent & fact-based collaboration.
