Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
Managing a team to drive strategic programs for long-term growth, influencing policies and guidelines and building /deepening relationship with key influencers in government sector.
What are you accountable for?
- Identifying, shaping and pursuing new business opportunities within the government sector; drive additional funnel on mid to long term big opportunities
- Cultivating and maintaining partnerships with federal government agency leaders and departments
- Building and cultivating relationships with technology partners
- Leading proposal development in partnership with federal, state and local agencies
- Developing and implementing programs that promote business growth, opportunities, and increased revenue
What do you need?
Additionally, this role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as it involves working with a range of stakeholders, including businesses, government officials, and community leaders.
- Able to manage, guide and drive the team
- Understand existing Government policies and framework, its ecosystem at Federal, states and agencies level
- Understand telco business will be added advantage
- 10 years or more experience in government space with strong relationship with key Gov stakeholders
