Why does this job exist and why is it critical?

Managing a team to drive strategic programs for long-term growth, influencing policies and guidelines, and building/deepening relationships with key influencers in the government sector.

What are you accountable for?

• Identifying, shaping, and pursuing new business opportunities within the government sector; driving additional funnel on mid to long-term big opportunities.
• Cultivating and maintaining partnerships with federal government agency leaders and departments.
• Building and cultivating relationships with technology partners.
• Leading proposal development in partnership with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Developing and implementing programs that promote business growth, opportunities, and increased revenue.

What do you need?

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as it involves working with a range of stakeholders, including businesses, government officials, and community leaders.
• Able to manage, guide, and drive the team.
• Understanding of existing Government policies and framework, its ecosystem at Federal, state, and agency levels.
• Understanding of telco business will be an added advantage.
• 10 years or more experience in the government space with strong relationships with key government stakeholders.
