Head of Automation (Financial Services)

This role is pivotal to define overall direction and lead the design, development and implementation of banking innovation ideas and improve banking processes through digitalisation.

Our client is a multinational company focused in the banking and other sectors.

Description

1. Dept Management: Lead and manage the department to transform operational processes through new digitalization and innovative ideas, manage overall department performance, resources and budget.
2. Innovation and Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of digital roadmap, strategies to enhance overall credit decision making process and customer onboarding journey, stay abreast with the emerging trends and technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and enhancement.
3. Technology and Database Management: Leverage and optimize new AI tools, technology and database capabilities to meet overall company objectives.
4. Business Driver and Stakeholder Liaison: Main liaison to communicate, negotiate and manage internal/external stakeholders, oversee overall project management as well as present to management accordingly.
5. Performance Monitoring: Continuous monitoring and analyse performance metrics to ensure company objectives are achieved.

Profile

1. Strong understanding of Credit operations and processes.
2. Knowledge of Credit policy and score card management development lifecycle.
3. Possess experience and knowledge in credit innovation.
4. Proven track record of directing enterprise project or transformation project.
5. Degree in Business, Information Technology/ Computer Science / Information Systems / or equivalent.
6. Leadership skills - capable of empowering and leading a department to meet business goals - balancing between credit risks and digitalisation.
7. Certified Business/Information Technology professional with credit processes/risk experience.
