Your new company

You will be working for a dynamic, well-reputable company within the Pharmaceutical industry who is looking for a Head of Legal & Compliance to be based in Selangor. Due to increasing demand within the market, a competent senior professional is needed to lead and pioneer their robust team.

Your new role

As the Head of Legal & Compliance, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Negotiating and drafting legal documents across all business units to ensure the organisation's operational needs are supported adequately.
2. Providing recommendations in accordance with changes within legal frameworks and their impact on the organisation.
3. Reviewing internal policies and rolling out legal policies and procedures.
4. Keeping track of updates in laws and regulations to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
5. Maintaining strong business partnerships with external and internal stakeholders.
6. Ensuring risk management practices are aligned with industry standards and well-integrated within governance processes.
7. Upholding PHARMA guidelines and SOPs.
8. Setting up and rolling out local compliance processes and providing training across the organisation.
9. Developing, monitoring, and maintaining data privacy and protection policies and procedures.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to qualify for this role, you must:

1. Possess a minimum of 10 years working experience in Legal & Compliance within the Pharmaceutical industry.
2. Have strong technical knowledge of the PhAMA Code of Practice.
3. Be well-articulated with strong communication and business partnering skills.
4. Have regional exposure, which is highly advantageous.
