Get to Know the Team
- As the Commercial Leader overseeing three business streams, you will be part of a high-performing team responsible for driving growth across Grab Malaysia's key verticals—GrabMart, GrabExpress, and Private Label ventures.
- The team is focused on building and managing strong relationships with both existing and potential partners, including prominent retail chains and key Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) providers.

- You will formulate strategic and collaborative business plans, managing end-to-end projects from deal finalization to implementation, and maintaining high-level relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Your role will involve lead generation, data-driven negotiations, account management, and other sales-focused initiatives to support the team's growth objectives.
- You will report to the Head of Deliveries & Ads Revenue Management.
- This role is based onsite in Petaling Jaya.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will drive strategic planning and lead high-impact business development initiatives as someone within Grab Malaysia's Commercial team.
- You will spearhead strategic partner acquisition and develop innovative partnership models by leveraging internal data and analytics.
- You will define commercial strategy, set and monitor revenue targets, and lead negotiations for key partner agreements.
- You will collaborate with partners on joint business planning to shape clear initiative roadmaps and long-term goals.
- You will work cross-functionally with product, operations, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of deals and initiatives.
- You will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), implement data-driven improvements, and ensure alignment with both country and regional strategic priorities.
- You will build and lead a high-performing team, foster a culture of collaboration, and contribute to the development of tools and best practices across the business development function.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- You have a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, or Marketing; MBA preferred.
- You have 10 years' experience in major brands, deal structuring, and program management.
- You have a good track record in leading teams and driving sales, revenue, or strategic partnerships.
- You are relationship-driven and able to thrive in dynamic environments.
- Your background includes FMCG, consulting, telco, e-commerce, retail, or large local conglomerates.
