Group Reporting - Assistant Manager/Manager

Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be tasked with:

1. Compile and submit monthly consolidated financial statements and reports to the holding company.
2. Generate quarterly reports for announcements to Bursa Malaysia and submissions to Bank Negara Malaysia.
3. Conduct fluctuation analysis to understand subsidiary operations and identify any inconsistencies or unusual relationships.
4. Offer support and communicate with subsidiary finance teams on accounting and group reporting issues.
5. Ensure all financial transactions are accurate, up-to-date, and regularly monitored.
6. Resolve financial discrepancies by gathering and analysing account information.
7. Draft audited financial statements, including preparing supporting documentation for figures in the notes.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you must be:

1. Possessing a Degree in Accounting or Finance with professional qualifications is highly preferable (MIA, ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent).
2. Minimum 5 years of working experience in the Accounting & Finance field, preferably from Property Developer or Construction or listed company.
3. Candidates from Big4/10 up to Assistant Manager/ Manager level are highly encouraged to apply.
4. Able to handle group reporting and consolidation.
