• Origination and execution of corporate finance engagements including business valuation, M&A, fundraising, intangible asset valuation, financial model review, business strategy, and market entry study.
• Develop various financial models and standard templates, ensuring quality, accuracy, and focused analytic review.
• Describe an insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts to provide practical counsel to business area partners and management to drive business results.
• Manage group budget, forecast, and assess management risks of all financial aspects and prepare reports for the Board of Directors.
• Project management including the drafting and appraisal of information memorandum, business plans, financial models, and valuation approaches.
• Maintain a focused system of internal controls to provide effective control over the group's assets, revenue & costs.
• Responsible for all group tax restructuring plans to maximize tax advantage.
• Responsible for financial process re-engineering of the group to meet objectives of cost effectiveness.
• Evaluate group investment projects and advise the Board of Directors accordingly, performing post-investment audits on major capital investments.
• Negotiate and structure financial details.
• Implement financial plans and provide investment advice, tactics, and recommendations.
• Develop external relationships with accountants, lawyers, financial experts, bankers, and regulatory bodies.
• Responsible for training and development of the finance team to ensure optimum staffing levels and succession plans for all key positions.
• Arrange new sources of finance and debt facilities.
• Ad hoc reporting to management on special projects.
• Has an advanced bachelor’s degree or bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business administration.
• Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial modeling or funding and loans.
• Experience in project finance is preferable.
• Possesses advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Has strong analytical, technical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrates solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Is able to work independently, has superior attention to detail, can multitask, and possesses honesty and integrity.
