GROUP CORPORATE FINANCE & PLANNING MANAGER

About the role

We are seeking a Group Corporate Finance & Planning Manager to join the team at Northern Region. This is a full-time role based in Kedah. As the Group Corporate Finance & Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's strategic financial objectives and driving the overall financial performance of the group.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee the group's corporate finance and planning functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation.
• Lead the development and implementation of short-term and long-term financial strategies to support the group's growth initiatives.
• Prepare investment analysis for new investment proposals and new projects for the group of companies.
• Support budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting with respect to business risks, including assimilating budget and planning information into economic models and developing forecast information for management use.
• Analyze and develop a framework and program for evaluating the company's success.
• Conduct financial, economic, and business analysis and evaluate when necessary.
• Collaborate with business units to align financial plans with operational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Oversee the preparation of financial reports and presentations for executive management and the board of directors.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in a senior corporate finance or strategic planning role, preferably in corporate strategic planning, business analytics, finance, and accounting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Proactive, innovative, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
