Collaborate and assist GMD setting and driving organizational vision and operations strategy;
GCOO is responsible for the Operations aspect of the company;
Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning;
Oversee the Business Units (subsidiaries) on daily business operations and improve operating procedures for optimal efficiency;
Engage actively with the BOD subsidiaries on building the company’s capacity to implement a strategic and growth plan;
Ensure successful implementation of business strategies and operational plans and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations/SOP;
Upgrade and implement an appropriate operational system of policies, internal controls, governance and procedures;
Actively oversee project implementation to ensure all projects are delivered within time, scope, and budget;
Enhance growth through new ventures and partnerships by formulating development strategies, guidelines, and plans;
Mentor and inspire subordinates into the vision of the management;
Evaluate company performance and recommend strategies to improve results;
Collaborate with management to carry out other business-expanding strategies;
Ensure that the financial KPIs are delivered and implemented within the parameters, policies, processes, and governance of the organization;
Review and monitor the budget for CAPEX and OPEX for project development related activities;
Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance appraisals;
Instill a culture of innovation and high performance at all levels, be it management or staff;
Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach: assign accountabilities; set objectives; establish priorities; and monitor and evaluate results;
Coach and develop direct reports, creating a high functioning management team;
Develop competent employees that can meet the business changes;
Advise on the need for future manpower requirements as part of business expansion.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or related equivalent.
Advanced degree is preferred, i.e., MBA.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in a Senior Management role.
EXPERIENCE
Proven 10 years of experience in a leadership role; preferably as a GCOO or in a similar executive position.
Strong operational expertise in Business Development, Project Management, and Finance.
Possess knowledge of operations across various functions including Finance, Legal, HR, and Corporate Communication.
Proven track record of developing and implementing business strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
