Group Accountant/FM (Group Reporting/Consolidation/Corporate Finance) PLCs

Our 2 clients are Bursa Main Board Listed Companies.

Client 1: Group Accountant (Public listed Property Developer)

Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation of monthly and year-end consolidation, group quarterly results announcement to Bursa Malaysia, group forecasts, budgets and year-end statutory accounts for the Group.
  2. Oversee the accounts of all subsidiary companies within the Group.
  3. Perform analytical review of subsidiary companies' monthly financials.
  4. End-to-end preparation of the annual report.
  5. Liaise with internal and external auditors on all audit matters.
  6. Assist with internal reporting to the Board and external stakeholders such as corporate banks and shareholders.
  7. Part of a team responsible for establishing, reviewing and updating group accounting policies and procedures in line with changes in business requirements and relevant financial reporting standards.
  8. Support and undertake ad-hoc matters as required by Management from time to time.

Requirements:
  1. Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business or a professional accounting qualification such as MICPA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA.
  2. Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
  3. Must be able to handle group consolidation.
  4. Minimum of 5 years related working experience; with strong expertise on group accounting and consolidation. Prior work experience from Developers Company would be beneficial.
  5. Able to work independently with a positive attitude, resourceful and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Meticulous with good attention to details, efficient, strong analytical skills.
  6. Advanced skill with Excel and good with PowerPoint.
  7. Experience with corporate governance.

Client 2: Accountant/Assistant Finance Manager/Finance Manager (Public-Listed Group in Food & Beverage/Retail)

Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for full spectrum of finance, accounting and tax matters including preparing financial reports including group consolidation accounts which are in compliance with statutory and Bursa listing requirements.
  2. Preparing timely and accurate management reports for Management information and decision making.
  3. Preparing and monitoring company budgets.
  4. Cash flow monitoring and planning including treasury matters.
  5. Product costing.
  6. Tax compliance and regulatory matters including tax planning.
  7. Developing finance policies and procedures and ensuring the processes are effective and in line with best practice.
  8. Leading financial and internal audits.
