Our 2 clients are Bursa Main Board Listed Companies.

Client 1: Group Accountant (Public listed Property Developer)

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly and year-end consolidation, group quarterly results announcement to Bursa Malaysia, group forecasts, budgets and year-end statutory accounts for the Group.
• Oversee the accounts of all subsidiary companies within the Group.
• Perform analytical review of subsidiary companies’ monthly financials.
• End-to-end preparation of the annual report.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors on all audit matters.
• Assist with internal reporting to the Board and external stakeholders such as corporate banks and shareholders.
• Part of a team responsible for establishing, reviewing and updating group accounting policies and procedures in line with changes in business requirements and relevant financial reporting standards.
• Support and undertaking ad-hoc matters as required by Management from time to time.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business or a professional accounting qualification such as MICPA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA.
• Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
• Must be able to handle group consolidation.
• Minimum of 5 years related working experience; with strong expertise on group accounting and consolidation. Prior work experience from Developers Company would be beneficial.
• Able to work independently with positive attitude, resourceful and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Meticulous with good attention to details, efficient, strong analytical skills.
• Advance skill with Excel and good with PowerPoint.
• Experience with corporate governance.

Client 2: Accountant/Assistant Finance Manager/Finance Manager. Client is a Public-Listed Group in Food & Beverage/Retail businesses

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full spectrum of finance, accounting and tax matters including preparing financial reports including group consolidation accounts which are in compliance with statutory and Bursa listing requirements.
• Preparing timely and accurate management reports for Management information and decision making.
• Preparing and monitoring company budgets.
• Cash flow monitoring and planning including treasury matters.
• Product costing.
• Tax compliance and regulatory matters including tax planning.
• Developing finance policies and procedures and ensuring the processes are effective and in line with best practice.
• Leading financial and internal audits.
