Job Purpose

Responsible to manage Ground procurement activities that includes rates sourcing and vendor management.

Key Accountabilities

1. Responsible for rates sourcing and provide ground solutions for RFQ and enquiries.
2. Support BD/Ground team in pursuing new opportunity and customer retention.
3. Responsible for vendor KPI performance management and drive continuous improvement.
4. Responsible in adhering to CEVA Business Rules and complied with all times.
5. Preparation and management of Transport Service Agreement in liaison with vendor and internal stakeholders.
6. Ensure a strong governance in the business both internally and to the vendors.
7. Continuously look for cost savings initiatives, either regionally & globally OR locally driven as contribution to CEVA cost savings program.
8. Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by Country Head and Function Manager.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

Education & Qualifications:

• BS Degree in any business course.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of working experience in the Logistics/Transport related field.

Specialist Knowledge & Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Fast analyser.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.

Interpersonal & Communication Skills:

• Strong written interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
• Good analytical skills in terms of pricing and quotes.
• Ability to deal with customers and vendors.
• Good people skills and customer service focus.
• Able to work and deliver within tight deadlines.
