Graduate Research Assistant

Location: Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru, Malaysia

We are looking for a Graduate Research Assistant (Master/PhD) to join our team at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). This is a full-time, on-site role where you’ll work on exciting research topics such as Interconnects, Network-on-Chip (NoC), and Signal Integrity (SI).

What You’ll Do:

1. Conduct innovative research under the guidance of experienced academics.
2. Use advanced tools like Ansys HFSS, SPICE-Type Simulator ADS, Noxim, and MATLAB for modeling and simulations.
3. Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at local/international conferences.
4. Collaborate with a dynamic research team to achieve project goals.

What We’re Looking For:

1. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
2. Strong academic record and a passion for research.
3. Knowledge of Interconnects, NoC, or SI is a big plus.
4. Proficiency in simulation tools like Ansys HFSS, MATLAB, or similar.
5. Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
6. Ability to work on-site at UTM, independently, and with a proactive attitude.
