Our Global Finance Controllership Team provides support for the business for technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

As Senior Tax Analyst you will support various tax jurisdictions for APAC Regions to manage the calculation, filing, payment and reconciliation of international Taxes at Global Tax Centre.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Regional Tax Leads, work with other Tax Analysts within the regional groups for the APAC region to review and control all the Tax calculations from our various ERPs.
• Completing the periodic filing and payment of all Taxes (VAT, GST, CIT, withholding taxes, etc.) and supporting in tax audit.
• Handles all wing-to-wing tax reporting and tax accounting processes including forecasting, tax provision, compliance and settlement.
• Elaborates proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures and processes in the own field.
• Liaising with external advisor to ensure all any changes in taxes are recognized and ERPs and tax filing is updated.
• Documenting and communicate abnormal tax expenses to Operations and Management.
• Supporting all Tax & Statutory audits and reconcile all balance sheet tax accounts monthly.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have education background in Accounting, Finance, Audit or related field.
• Professional qualification ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA or equivalent is an advantage.
• Have a minimum 4-5 years of Tax Experience in large multinational, accounting firm or shared service centre with Corporate Income Tax/ Indirect Tax/ other taxes experience for any tax jurisdiction.
• Demonstrate expertise and experience in tax accounting (corporate income tax/ deferred taxes) with good analytical skill.
• Possess good analytical skills with proactive mind-set, with the ability to bring expert advice and problem-solving skills to the team.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, with good spoken and written English.
• Be results oriented, self-motivated and proactively taking the initiative to lead and solve problems.
