Develop and maintain QGIS plugins and scripts using Python to streamline operations and integrate various data sources.
Design user-friendly reports that provide actionable insights on crop health, soil conditions, and other agricultural factors using the processed data.
Collaborate with remote sensing experts and agronomists to ensure the relevance and accuracy of agricultural data presented.
Continuously improve reporting tools based on user feedback and advancements in GIS technology.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Agricultural Engineering, or related field.
Strong proficiency in QGIS and its plugins.
Demonstrated experience with Python, specifically for automation and working with APIs in a GIS context.
Experience in processing and analyzing remote sensing data and familiarity with agricultural applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Effective communication skills to translate complex data into understandable reports and insights.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in agriculture technology or working with agricultural data.
