Job Summary:
The General Manager of Marketing will lead the marketing team across two key areas: Customer & Growth Strategy and Brand Engagement & Experience. This role is essential in driving customer acquisition, sales campaigns, loyalty programs, and brand visibility, while ensuring customer satisfaction. The GM will leverage data insights to refine marketing strategies and collaborate closely with the Commercial team to enhance vendor partnerships and maximize trade income. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer & Growth Strategy:
    Lead marketing and growth strategies focused on sales campaigns, loyalty programs, and customer acquisition. Leverage data insights to analyze customer behavior, campaign performance, and sales trends to drive continuous improvement.
  2. Customer Service & Experience:
    Oversee customer carelines, ensuring exceptional service delivery across retail chains, and leading initiatives to enhance service culture and customer retention.
  3. Brand Engagement & Experience:
    Oversee PR, corporate communications, and creative/digital teams to enhance brand visibility and community engagement. Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and retail environments.
  4. Vendor & Brand Collaboration:
    Work closely with the Commercial team to drive brand partnerships, vendor collaborations, and maximize trade income opportunities through joint campaigns and activations.
  5. Financial Management:
    Manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI while meeting strategic goals.
  6. Leadership:
    Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with company goals.
  7. Any other relevant tasks assigned by management as and when is needed.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

  1. Marketing Leadership: Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business Administration. 7+ years leading marketing teams in retail industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue and customer engagement through successful campaigns.
  2. Data-Driven Insights: Strong understanding of customer behavior and analytics, leveraging them to craft and optimize strategies.
  3. Omnichannel Mastery: Experience in customer journey mapping, omnichannel marketing, and digital transformation initiatives, ensuring seamless customer experiences across all touchpoints.
  4. Financial Acumen: Proven ability to manage marketing budgets, analyze financial performance, and optimize ROI for maximum impact.
  5. Team Builder & Motivator: Proven leadership and team management skills, inspiring and developing team members to achieve their full potential.
  6. Communication & Influence: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, effectively influencing and motivating diverse teams.
