General Manager - IT System Integrator

Job Description:

The General Manager will lead an IT system integration company in Malaysia, focusing on delivering innovative technology solutions to sectors such as hospitals, education, commercial projects, and universities. This role encompasses strategic leadership, operational management, and client relationship development to drive growth and enhance market presence.

Responsibilities:

1. Formulate and execute business strategies tailored to the Malaysian market and targeted industries.
2. Oversee the management of IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.
4. Lead and inspire a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
5. Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
6. Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
7. Promote innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
2. At least 8 to 10 years of experience in a senior management role within IT system integration or technology services, with a focus on the Malaysian market.
3. Strong understanding of IT solutions and trends relevant to hospitals, education, and commercial sectors in Malaysia.
4. Proven leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
7. Familiarity with local regulations and compliance standards in the IT industry.
