Company Overview
Our client is an established local listed company that is a strong player in the property/ construction industry. In line with their business expansion, they are looking to bring on board a GM – Group HR to join their team in Puchong.
Responsibilities:
1.HRA Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Contribute to overall business planning and decision-making as a member of the senior management team.
2. Monitoring new HRA Projects:
- Collaborate with HR leaders and project stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Ensure clear communication of project goals and expectations to all team members.
3.Industrial Relations:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Keep abreast of changes in labor laws and update organizational policies accordingly.
- Assist in the development of labor-related policies and procedures.
4.Employee Grievances:
- Receive and document employee grievances, ensuring confidentiality and sensitivity.
- Conduct thorough investigations into the nature and details of each complaint
- Review relevant policies, employment contracts, and applicable laws to assess the validity of grievances.
5.Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs.
- Support career development and continuous learning initiatives.
- Monitor employee development progress and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
6.Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Ensure market competitiveness and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Regularly review and adjust compensation structures as necessary.
7.HR Policy and Compliance:
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws.
- Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations and ensure the organization’s compliance.
- Handle legal matters related to employment issues, if necessary.
8.HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize HR analytics to assess key HR metrics and make data-driven decisions.
- Prepare and present regular HR reports to senior management.
9.Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the HR department budget.
- Control costs while ensuring the effective delivery of HR services.
10.Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Oversee the recruitment process, including workforce planning, job postings, interviewing, and candidate selection.
- Develop and manage onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Implement talent management and succession planning strategies to identify and nurture top talent within the organization
Experience:
You are a Bachelor’s degree holder in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum 8 years of progressive HR management experience, including leadership roles.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
