General Manager, Finance (Sarawak)

Responsibilities

1. Set-up, lead, guide & oversee document control function for the Finance Department.
2. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly management reports & manage the costing, budgeting, and forecast processes.
3. Manage and analyze financial performance, cash flow, and capital allocation.
4. Ensure financial reporting is in compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards.
5. Update the board quarterly on financials.
6. Conduct risk management on financial issues.
7. Liaise with authorities, internal and external auditors, tax agents, and bankers on relevant matters and queries.
8. Deal with bankers on financing and lawyers on agreements.
9. Liaise with Group Corporate Communications in matters pertaining to advertisement, donations, and other related matters.
10. Comply with company safety policy, company policy, and rules and regulations.
11. Carry out related duties and ad-hoc assignments as requested by the immediate superior.

Requirements

1. Recognized Degree in Accounting, professional qualification in MIA or other relevant qualifications.
2. At least five (5) years of experience in finance/accounting and administration role.
3. Strong financial analysis, communication, and interpersonal skills.
4. Mature and able to work independently, providing useful and objective advice and input.
5. Conversant with GSuite platform and Apps.
