General Manager (Fashion Apparel)

Key position which is fully responsible for Business Expansion, Franchise Program, business strategies, merchandising planning and implementation of company policies and plays a major role in the overall journey and success of the organization. Knowledge and exposure in Retail Fashion Industry is a must for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set out below are the Key Responsibilities, this is not an exhaustive list, and within reason, additional task or duties may be requested still within the overall scope of the role:

• Evaluate the company’s financial, operational, and sales and marketing structures to plan for continual improvements and a continual increase in operating efficiencies.
• Provide strategic input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
• Communicate effectively and establish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board of Directors as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
• Being a personnel to search for location for business expansion (liaising with mall management or landlord and study the nature and population on the location for expansion).
• Handle all matters related to franchise program.
• Manage company OTB and merchandising planning to ensure the stock level is in a healthy level.
• Perform any other expressed or implied duties required by the superior.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Min Degree, MBA in relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience. Knowledge of business process and functions (Business expansion, Franchise, Merchandising, Logistics, Operations etc.).
• Possess own transport.
• Language proficiency: Mandarin, English and BM as we are dealing with consultant and supplier from China.
