Job description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic-thinking professional to join our organization as the GM of Corporate Communication and Brand Building. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies to enhance our brand image, reputation, and stakeholder engagement across different countries. Your expertise in corporate communication, branding, and strategic planning will be instrumental in driving the company's overall communication objectives and building a strong and consistent brand presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the corporate communication strategy to effectively communicate the company's vision, mission, values, and achievements to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Define and maintain the company's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all communication channels and touchpoints.
  • Lead the development and implementation of brand-building initiatives, including brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity.
  • Oversee the planning, creation, and distribution of communication materials such as press releases, newsletters, annual reports, and presentations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to generate positive media coverage and increase brand visibility.
  • Serve as the company spokesperson, representing the organization in media interviews, conferences, and public speaking engagements.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry news to identify communication opportunities and risks.
  • Develop and execute crisis communication plans to manage effectively and mitigate potential reputational issues.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing, HR, and senior leadership, to align communication efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Manage the corporate communication budget and oversee external agencies or vendors, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
  • Lead and mentor a team of communication professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven at least 8 years of experience in corporate communication, brand building, and reputation management, preferably in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute communication strategies that align with business goals.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with media contacts, industry influencers, and key stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing communication team.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
