General Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly capable and experienced General Manager to lead and oversee the operations of GSEVEN SAFETY LOCKERS SDN. BHD., a leading provider of premium safety lockers in Kuala Lumpur. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving the strategic growth and profitability of the business, ensuring efficient day-to-day management, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing strategic leadership and direction to the organisation, aligning all business functions to achieve the company's overall objectives
2. Overseeing the daily operations of the business, including production, sales, marketing, finance, and human resources
3. Developing and implementing effective business plans, budgets, and KPIs to drive growth and profitability
4. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and industry partners
5. Identifying new market opportunities and spearheading the development of innovative products and services
6. Fostering a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven work culture
7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

What we're looking for

1. Extensive experience (8+ years) in a senior management or general manager role, preferably within the manufacturing or safety equipment industry
2. Proven track record of leading and managing a diverse team to achieve business objectives
3. Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
4. Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and cost control
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
6. Thorough understanding of the manufacturing and safety equipment industry, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape
7. Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
