General Account Executive

About the role

We are seeking a talented General Account Executive to join our dynamic team at PMG Healthcare Sdn Bhd. This full-time position is based in Sarikei, Sarawak, and will play a crucial role in our Accounting and Bookkeeping department. As a General Account Executive, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of accounting and financial tasks, contributing to the overall success of our healthcare organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger transactions
• Preparing and processing payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
• Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis
• Generating financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Providing support to the finance team in any other ad-hoc tasks as required

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare or accounting industry
• Strong proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to work with financial data accurately
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain meticulous records
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
• A team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude
