Game Programmer

A game programmer should be self-motivated, energetic team player able to efficiently prototype new game systems and bring them to a high level of polish.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with other departments to ensure art supports a gameplay-first player experience
2. Foster and maintain effective relationships inside and outside the art department
3. Come up with innovative ways to solve problems quickly to unblock other teams
4. Be a jack of all trades when necessary to generate the largest impact
5. Ensure art team is focused on making art optimized for performance as well as quality.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, other comparable degree area, or comparable experience
2. 2+ years of professional video game programming experience
3. Fluent in C++ and Python
4. Flexible to learning other languages and software.
5. Able to create tools to help improve pipeline and optimize workflow for artists.
6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
7. Experience working with GIT, SVN or Perforce
8. Have a great interest in games
9. Experience in web development is a plus
