FULLSTACK DEVELOPER

At CARA COM MY SDN BHD, we rely on a dynamic team of engineers to solve the many challenges and puzzles of our rapidly evolving technical stack. We’re seeking a full stack developer who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that’s always pushing boundaries. This person will have complete, end-to-end ownership of projects. The ideal candidate has experience building products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages. The full stack developer will join a small team that uses new technology to solve challenges for both the front-end and back-end architecture, ultimately delivering amazing experiences for global users.

Objectives of this role:

1. Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth
2. Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements
3. Assume leadership of new projects, from conceptualization to deployment
4. Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design
5. Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities

Preferred skills and qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering
2. Interest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies
3. Professional certification
