Your Role
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will create and manage dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that provide actionable insights, helping stakeholders make data-driven decisions.

As a key member of our collaborative full-stack development team, you will develop innovative web applications and microservices that solve real-world challenges and redefine workflows.

Your Responsibilities

• Participates in the planning, analysis, creation, and design
• Build scalable and high-performance web and microservices
• Be an active and customer-focused team member - understand user stories and make constructive recommendations
• Write clean, maintainable, sustainable, and tested code with supporting documentation and automated unit tests
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including designers and developers from other teams
• Provide third-level support, as needed, to maintain production applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and industry trends
• Advocate web and microservices development best practices

Requirements

• A relevant degree qualification (Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering) is required.
• Full stack .Net software engineer skills with 1-3 years of experience
• Exhibit good coding practices, passionate about working with web technologies, and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid organization, self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, including clear status updates
• Reside in Klang Valley and able to commute to the client's office for physical meetings
• Eagerness to learn and able to take and provide constructive criticism
• Understand and execute established project workflows and have adequate knowledge of project development tools
• Possess sufficient knowledge of architecture and design principles
• Demonstrated analytical experience in interpreting data and requirements and delivering actionable recommendations

Required programming languages for different roles:

• Must have: PowerBI, DAX, SQL, ETL.
• Good to have: Python
• Full stack (ASP.NET, Python) Position:
  • Front-end: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS.
  • Back-end: C# (or similar managed code such as Java), Python, SQL.
• Others:
  • Cloud Services: Azure portal management and web app deployment in Azure Pipelines.
  • Data Integration: Basic knowledge of integrating web apps with Power BI dashboards.
