Front-end Developer

This role will develop and support a PaaS (Platform as a Service) global enterprise cloud application. The application was built on Cloud Foundry using Java back end, NodeJS middleware and AngularJS front end. The application is hosted in AWS (Amazon Web Services) for internal employees and an external portal for our contractual parties.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support continuous improvements and development of our global end-to-end core enterprise application emphasizing AngularJS web application/front-end implementation and integrating with back-end REST APIs using JSON.
2. Collaborate with immediate superior and local onsite teams.
3. Execute and deliver assigned tasks in a timely manner.
4. Assist Business Analyst and Technical Architect in design and development.
5. Document design and write documented code.
6. Perform unit testing.
7. Provide Level 2 or 3 application support/troubleshooting for the production system.

Key Performance Measurements:
Management of the workload in a thorough, prompt, accurate, presentable and where appropriate, confidential manner.

Experience and Qualifications:

Experience:
Min 2 years’ experience in JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
Hands-on experience building large AngularJS web applications.
Bootstrap with cross-browser compatibility implementation, Web Accessibility and Responsive Design.
Enterprise applications work experience including transactional, B2B and back office.

Qualifications:
Min Bachelor Degree in Computer related field or equivalent work experience.

Skills/Abilities Required:

Skills:
Computer literacy is essential for this role.
JavaScript, AngularJS, Bootstrap, Responsive Web design, Grunt, Bower, Yeoman, HTML5, CSS3, JSON/XML, Agile development.
UX (user experience) or graphics design.
Excellent knowledge of JavaScript Single Page applications, front-end optimization techniques, and web-based information architecture.
Troubleshoot and perform performance tuning of client-side JavaScript, with troubleshooting skills - Level 2 or 3 application support/troubleshooting for production systems.
Good English and communication skills.
