FORWARDING MANAGER/ ASSISTANT MANAGER

Freight/Cargo Forwarding (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)

• Oversee all operations within the Forwarding Department.
• Ensure all customs licenses, certificates, and other regulatory documents are up-to-date and compliant.
• Enforce and standardize departmental policies, procedures, and processes.
• Provide expert advice on customs legislation and promptly resolve any customer-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and address operational challenges within the department.
• Offer internal training and provide guidance on complex customs inquiries.
• Develop detailed job descriptions for department staff to clarify roles and responsibilities.
• Attend management meetings and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Diploma or higher qualification.
• Strong understanding of Customs & Government Agency regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain strong relationships with Customs personnel.
• Proven leadership experience with demonstrated responsibility and decision-making ability.
• At least 5 years of recent experience in customs brokerage.
