Job description
Sales Planning
To promote and professionally sell a wide range of Bancassurance life insurance products to the Bank’s existing and potential customers.
To provide professional advice on appropriate financial products based on customer need.
To ensure customer satisfaction and provide excellent after-sales service.
To plan and implement sales activities related to Bancassurance products.
To act promptly on all leads and follow-up activities.
To acquire good knowledge of Bancassurance products in the market.
To achieve individual sales targets and contribute towards the achievement of the branch target.
Manage sales pipeline by participating in sales management routines.
Keeping abreast with accurate and updated information on products, services etc.
Participate in CPD activities to increase knowledge and skills.
Update branch managers on the status of activities and any issues when necessary.
Sales Execution
To actively market and sell Sunlife products to all customers.
Actively involve in cross-product sales activities to ensure optimal customer reach, product exposure, and effective operations that optimize delivery to customers.
Ensuring success of all relevant sales campaigns.
Customer Relations
Handles customer inquiries diligently, resolve or escalate to the relevant parties.
Refer customers to the relevant officers or salespersons for other products and services.
Resolve customer complaints and escalate to the respective parties where necessary.
Develop and build long-term business relationships with customers.
Compliance
To ensure the completeness and accuracy of customer's documents and information for sales execution and submission.
To perform housekeeping on business documentation efficiently, avoiding exposure and exercising caution on all confidential information.
To submit the necessary documents to the relevant parties and follow up in a timely manner.
To strictly comply with CIMB Bank's policies and procedures, including credit control procedures, audit compliance, BNM Guidelines etc.
To comply with the sales code of ethics and governance.
To respond to compliance inquiries both from vertical and horizontal as well as audit etc.
People Management
To promote and encourage teamwork by: Providing assistance to colleagues, branch lead generators, supervisors etc.
Sharing knowledge and new ideas with the team.
Maintaining conducive and professional working relationships with team members and customers.
To project a professional business image at all times through high standards of housekeeping and personal grooming.
