We are inviting applications for the role of Financial Planning and Analysis.

In this role, you will be responsible for FP&A activities like processing journals, management reporting, and trial balance review. You will work with customers/clients in day-to-day operations, wherein at times you may need to have telephonic conversations with them.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end FP&A process with minimum supervision.
  • Preparation and review responsibilities of month-end accounting.
  • Preparation of FP&A reports with advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Ensure timely delivery of work and provide regular updates to all stakeholders including clients.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and through emails with businesses.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Preparation and updating of process documentation to keep it up to date.
  • Conduct research, investigations, and analysis, hence trying to analyze things in detail with an underlying logic.
  • Involvement in migration of any additional finance responsibilities which includes developing and maintaining process maps and supporting documentation for all finance functions managed by the team.
  • Budgeting and forecasting – support planning process, target setting, working with business to receive details, systems uploads, reports, and presentations to enable business to review plans, understanding of financial metrics, KPIs, and drivers.
  • Reporting – prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports, including financial statements, variance analysis, and key business drivers.
  • Ensuring integrity and completeness of financial records, and ensuring compliance with finance control standards.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance.
  • Working experience in the field of finance and accounting in FP&A.
  • Excellent reconciliation, accounting & reporting experience.

Preferred qualifications

  • Prior experience in reconciliations & close.
  • Good knowledge of general ledger.
