Job description


The Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing / delivering timely and accurate standard and ad-hoc management reports (financial data, plans, forecasts, latest estimates, etc.) and initial variance analysis.
This position is responsible for providing strategic decision-support to the FP&A community, through the development and maintenance of Power BI analytics.
The Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams - including finance, digital and business, to drive analytics initiatives and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes within the organization.

Key responsibilities include:


1. Data Analytics & Business Intelligence (BI) Expertise:

  • Collaborate with the wider FP&A team to continuously improve, design, and develop existing PowerBI dashboards and data visualizations to address the organization's evolving needs. This will also include fostering a culture of data literacy and self-service BI within the company.
  • Work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and deliver impactful analysis.
  • Ensuring delivery of timely and accurate FP&A relevant reports (standard and ad hoc) to the entire Finance community and beyond.
  • Translate complex data findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Develop analysis and management reports to support decision-making processes (i.e. KPI report, operations report, quarterly finance report).
  • Work closely with data governance team to identify data issues and support in testing and problem resolution where relevant.
  • Collaborate with the digital team to optimize data infrastructure and ensure scalability.
  • Participate in projects that impact FP&A analytics.

2. Financial Data Quality Assurance:

  • Actively participate in data cleansing and validation activities to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Identify and address data-related issues that may impact financial analysis.

3. Support for Scenario Planning and Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with wider FP&A team to enhance forecasting models with data-driven inputs, providing data-backed recommendations to optimize budgeting and financial planning processes.
  • Apply statistical techniques to assess risk, evaluate investment opportunities, and perform sensitivity analysis.
  • Perform scenario analysis to support strategic planning efforts.

About you:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar (Master’s preferred).
• English business proficiency (written and spoken).
• Advanced technical proficiency in SAP – ERP systems.
• Good operational knowledge of MS Office software with advanced Excel skill set (Tables, Pivot Tables, lookups variants).
• Dashboard, data visualization (e.g. PowerBI) and programming experience will be a strong advantage.
• Proven abilities in teamwork and collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex findings in a clear and concise way.
• Passion for leveraging data to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Previous experience in a global FP&A environment in a multinational company.
• Knowledge of SAP (FICO related) and BW or other Data warehouse.
