The Financial Controller serves as a member of the administrative team in developing and effecting the management plan in line with Integra’s overall business and quality objectives.
Supervise departments within the financial administration function: Accounting and Financial Services.
Responsible for the smooth running of the Financial Administrative functions and recommending and establishing appropriate Integra policies, processes, procedures, systems and mechanisms to ensure that the customers’ needs are satisfactorily met and, at the same time, ensure that all internal controls and Integra’s Group financial policies, legal and external requirements are complied with.
Assist the Executive Leadership Team in implementing financial programmes within the Rehab Centres to achieve the financial goals set.
This job reports to the Group CEO, and the incumbent shall function following the applicable policies and regulations.
Providing strategic direction to the institution through strategy formulation, decision making, forecast/budgeting and its implementation/monitoring, establishing and implementing internal controls and ensuring efficient and effective financial operations per industry benchmarks.
Finalize annual financial statements/periodic financial statements (where required), get them audited by external Auditors and place them before the Board of Governors for consideration and approval.
Prepare financial projections and budgets in line with a business plan and get these approved by senior management and the Board of Governors.
Ensure independence of the Board from the financial operating matters.
Monitor the overall funding status, disbursements, repayment and related reporting.
Coordinate with stakeholders for arrangement and management of funds (including Grants).
