Financial Controller

• Ensure timely completion of month-end closing and year-end reporting.
• Oversee and manage the full spectrum of accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and tax compliance.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports and cash flow forecasts, ensuring timely submission and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Develop and manage budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
• Lead the IPO readiness process including supporting due diligence process, preparation of prospectus, coordination with investment bankers, lawyers and regulators.
• Establish and enhance internal control systems and financial policies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax consultants, bankers and regulatory bodies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, controls and systems.
• Provide mentorship, training and leadership to the finance and accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW) and MIA member preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with at least 6 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in IPO readiness, audit or working with publicly listed companies highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional leadership, analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
