Job Description:

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications (ACCA/CIMA/MIA).
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience, including significant tenure as a Financial Controller in companies with an annual turnover of > RM200mil or in a senior position for companies with an annual turnover of > RM300mil.
• Expertise in accounting, corporate finance, taxation, and company law.
• Proficiency in transfer pricing and strategic planning.
• Technical proficiency in leveraging technology for efficiency gains.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all finance activities including accounting, statutory and management reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, financial analysis, audit, internal controls, tax, and treasury.
• Partner with the CEO and operational heads to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Drive long-term strategic planning initiatives.
• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other regulatory requirements while mitigating financial risks.
• Provide robust financial analysis and guidance to management to enhance business performance.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with Group standards.
• Drive system enhancements, and process improvements, and maintain a strong control environment.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as needed.
• Lead or participate in special projects as assigned.
