Reporting directly to the Commercial and Finance Controller, and as a member of the Southeast Asia Finance Shared Service Team, the incumbent is responsible for supporting subsidiaries including but not limited to analysing business and financial data, creating financial models bases on analyses to support organizational decision making and developing financial plans and reports for Southeast Asia Management, and implementation of Regional Projects. Incumbent is also responsible and involved in the Annual Budget and Forecast.
Role Main Responsibilities
Daily, Monthly and Quarterly Responsibilities
Process daily & weekly sales update to stakeholders
Support sales team on margin analysis for the project sales
Process BPC sales reporting such as D+2 reporting, compute the sales volume-mix effect and sales price effect
Calculate the monthly PdB PdC adjustments on the purchase of Group finished products
Calculate the production costs by distinguishing between the volume mix impact and material price and productivity
Identifying the non- moving and slow-moving inventories and calculate the provision as per Group guidelines
Assist in the monthly close process by analysing trends and variances related to revenue, standard cost vs actual cost, and compare and correct data to reconcile financial transactions
Prepares monthly sales and gross margin analysis reports
Assisting on monthly Management Business Reporting (MBR) and COPR reporting
Process quarterly BPC marketing reporting
Work closely with the Shared Service accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
Financial Statement Analysis
Analysis and Controlling
Analyse financial data and prepare reports with insights, trends for stakeholders
Providing detailed analysis such as margin and price effect analysis on new project initiative and new pricing model
Determines and establishing the quarterly standard PRI by collecting operational data from local team
Create cash flow statement and ad-hoc cash flow analysis/trending.
Collaborate with different teams internally within Finance and across multi-functional teams to deliver value to the company
Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Budget/Forecast
Work directly with the Country Financial Controller with planning exercise on forecast and budget
Preparing budget CapEx file
Support and participate in the budget transfer ratio exercise
Prepare marketing reporting on sales and profitability
Compute PdB evolution (Budget vs Standard) as requested by Group
Input BPC package for forecast and budget
Role Requirements
Minimum Degree in Finance & Accounting with 5 years of manufacturing industry experience
Strong analytical skills
SAP knowledge is preferred
Proficiency in Power BI is preferred
Proficiency in Excel Macro, SQL, VBA would be an added bonus
Possess strong sense of internal control and business
High attention to details, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proven track record in organisation skills
Excellent team management skills
Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
