Financial Analyst

We are looking for an experienced and highly analytical Financial and Research Analyst with strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the stock market, financial markets, and cryptocurrency trading. The role involves developing and maintaining financial models, conducting market research, and providing key financial and investment insights to support strategic decision-making. This position will require translating complex data into clear, actionable insights and presenting research findings to management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including financial statement review, profitability analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and business valuations.
• Provide actionable insights based on financial data to guide business strategy and decision-making.

Market Research & Analysis:

• Conduct thorough research on the stock market, financial markets, and cryptocurrency markets, monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and investment opportunities.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and market data to assess opportunities and risks.
• Prepare detailed research reports and presentations in both English and Chinese, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Assess investment opportunities and perform risk analysis based on financial and market data.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on financial performance, market conditions, and investment potential.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Prepare and present financial and market research reports in both English and Chinese, ensuring accurate and clear communication of key insights.
• Present findings to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborate with finance, marketing, operations, and other departments to ensure research findings align with business strategies and inform decision-making.
• Support senior leadership with high-quality financial and market data to drive business growth.

Trend Forecasting & Market Insights:

• Use historical data, market trends, and economic indicators to forecast future financial and market conditions.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on market forecasts to help the company stay ahead of emerging opportunities and risks.

Key Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
• Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, market research, or investment analysis. Experience in stock market, financial markets, and cryptocurrency trading is required.
• Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese), with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with research tools, databases, and market research software (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar).
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques, and investment metrics.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear and actionable insights.
• Practical experience in the stock market, financial markets, and cryptocurrency trading.
• Familiarity with the risks and investment dynamics of cryptocurrency markets.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Working Environment:
This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur, with occasional travel required depending on business needs.
