Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage month-end reporting, including accrual accounting and prepayment adjustments.
  • Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Process and review journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Oversee fixed asset accounting, including IFRS 16 lease accounting.
  • Manage inventory accounting, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and the General Accounting team to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Provide technical accounting advice to support various business divisions.
  • Handle audit and tax-related queries, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as the Local Internal Control Lead ensuring compliance with corporate policies and internal controls.
  • Handle e-invoicing submission and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support ad-hoc finance projects and initiatives as required.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and general accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments and meet key deliverables.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
