This is a great opportunity to join a well-established Trading Company that is a strong player in its industry and has a strong presence in Asia. In line with their business expansion, they are looking to bring on board a dynamic finance professional to join their SSC team in Kuala Lumpur.
The new role
Reporting directly to the Finance Lead, you will be involved in financial and management reporting, managing the full Finance spectrum for Singapore operations as well as managing the general accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger. You will be responsible for handling the corporate tax and indirect tax matters, cash flow forecasts and providing advice to internal stakeholders in relation to any new business initiatives from accounting and tax perspectives.
Requirements to succeed
The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree or obtained a professional qualification in Accountancy, with 5-6 years’ relevant work experience in audit and accounting firm, ideally with commercial experience. You should have team management experience and possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills. You will have strong all-round experience in financial accounting and group reporting, with experience in cross-functional partnering and business improvement initiatives.
