Finance Manager (Manufacturing)(KL)

This job requires you to be in charge of a full set of accounts. You will manage a team while assisting the Head of Finance on day-to-day ad hoc finance matters.

Description

You will be in charge of:

Finance, Accounting & Tax

• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Analyze and compile forecast expenses, production, and sales.
• Prepare, maintain, and review annual Group budgets including commentaries.
• Manage input of budget/forecast data into the accounting system and reconcile.
• Review and maintain company rolling forecasts.

Accounts Payable & Receivables

• Supervise the preparation of payments and ensure proper documentation and procedures.
• Review and improve the internal controls of the payment system.
• Ensure proper debtors aging review and collection procedures are in place.

General Ledger and Consolidation

• Take ownership of Group and Company budget and forecasts.
• Review and improve on the overall General Ledger and closing operations.
• Review monthly company and group P & L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow.
• Guide team in liaising with company auditors on year-end auditing and other financial, taxation, and investment matters.

Costing

• Review and improve on the product costing procedures and systems to assist in company decision-making.
• Improve the accuracy of product costing and analyze the impact of proposed changes.
• Propose cost controlling and measurement initiatives.

Inventory

• Review inventory control system, procedures, and valuation methodology and propose necessary changes to support business decision-making.
• Monitor and maintain a reliable inventory reporting system.

Taxation

• Maintain various expense and accounting schedules for taxation computations.
• Assist the regional Financial Controller in company and group tax planning.

Profile

You will be suitable for this role if you:

• Have at least a professional qualification.
• Have experience in manufacturing.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Have experience managing a team.

Job Offer

You will be rewarded with an attractive salary of RM 12000- RM 15000 monthly.
