Finance Manager, Manufacturing based in Johor
About our client:
This company is a well-known MNC in the manufacturing industry within Malaysia. They are a household name and have partnerships across the world. They are looking to hire a finance manager to be based in Johor to support the senior management, lead the local finance team, and work closely with their counterparts across Malaysia and overseas.

Your key responsibilities include:

1. Managing end-to-end finance functions including reporting, closing, operations, and management accounting functions.
2. Responsible for CAPEX and OPEX as well as cost controlling, inventory management, and budgeting and forecasting.
3. Ensure alignment of local processes and controllership compliance.
4. Co-ordinate with Treasury for local treasury/banking requirements.
5. Lead projects on process improvement, streamlining, and re-engineering.
6. Manage and guide a team of 10 towards excellence.
7. Support on audits, statutory reporting, and tax.

The ideal candidate should have:

1. At least a bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, and/or professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.).
2. Proven track record in scope involving financial reporting, business partnering, and FP&A with a solid foundation in controllership.
3. Exposure in a manufacturing environment.
4. A proven track record of being a key contributor to the business's commercial value and prior experience in Controlling.
5. Experience leading a team.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (finance and non-finance).
