Finance Manager (Healthcare/Start-Up) - Based in Penang

Responsibilities:

• Manage full spectrum of the center's finance and accounting functions
• Assist in supervision of a team of finance staff to ensure proper and timely closing of accounts & statutory reporting
• Prepare monthly finance reports, financial budgets & forecasts for Management's review
• Ensure debtors and creditors payments are prompt and in good status
• Identify & implement workflow improvements to strengthen internal controls and work efficiency
• Oversee all audits, taxation, GST and corporate secretarial matters
• Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements
• Work closely with other business units within the Group
• Analyze revenue, expenses, cash flows and balance sheet for financial decisions

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/ACCA equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience
• Good knowledge and understanding of tax legislation
• Good knowledge of the local Reporting Standards, Companies Act and other accounting regulatory requirements is highly essential
• Experience in Healthcare / Hospital / Clinic Environment (Start-up Experience will be added advantage)
