SeaLead is hiring for "Finance Manager" at Selangor, Malaysia.

JOB PURPOSE:

• The primary role overall responsibility would be to look after all financial matters, including services that operate out of Malaysia and also handle Malaysia Agency Services offered to parent company in Singapore.
• Must have an excellent and professional working relationship with the management team in Malaysia and other management team across location.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Financial planning & analysis.
• Financial forecasts.
• Cost controlling.
• Control environment.
• Budgeting.
• Timely, accurate and reliable accounting & reporting.
• Management reporting.
• Statutory reporting.
• External audit.
• Cash flow management and reporting.
• Safeguarding company assets.
• Corporate Tax, VAT and GST.
• Banking relationships.
• Assist in office administration.
• Train & develop the capabilities of the DMCC Finance Team.
• Handling performance review and management of finance staff in coordination with finance global director.
• Compliance with internal and external financial laws, policies, procedures and regulations.
• Managing the finance team.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

• Timely, accurate and reliable financial data available, as and when needed.
• Financial compliance with all local laws and regulations.
• A strong finance team that is a respected partner for the rest of the organization.
• Company assets are protected, and avoidable losses are prevented.
• A fit for purpose internal control environment.

KEY INTERACTIONS (INTERNAL | EXTERNAL):

• External: Banks, Authorities, Auditors, Vendors, Customers.
• Internal: All across organization and Finance Team.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's / master's in finance, Auditing, B. Com or good to have a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CMA, CPA etc.)

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

English - Fluent (required)

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years of working experience in finance positions.
• Experience from working in a similar role.
• Experience in working with SAP.
