Finance Manager - (Education)

• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with the institution’s strategic goals.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making for school expansions, new programs, and operational improvements.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Conduct variance analysis, financial modeling, and cost-benefit assessments for various educational programs.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, taxation policies, and audit requirements specific to the education sector.
• Oversee statutory reporting, including SST, income tax, and other relevant financial obligations.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks affecting the institution’s operations.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
• Manage financial relationships with suppliers, service providers, and educational partners.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred)
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role (experience in education or non-profit sectors is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance within the education industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication skills to engage with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
